this time of the year will always carry its own memory for me, alongside the anniversaries, birthdays and special moments past marked through the year are all the days when we heard the news we lost a loved one. i won't ever forget hearing from Jo that Andy had died, but at the same time as having the visceral memory of loss there is overlaid on it all the living memories that leave me with a sense of disbeleif. Death is a mystery, not here but still here. I'm glad for all the bits of Andy that are still here.
