MEGAN Andrew Joseph died peacefully on Saturday 2nd January 2010 at Cransley Hospice. Andy was born in November 1967 and grew up in Corby. His career in environmental management took him to Dorset, where he and his partner Alison had their children, Tom and Hebe. Later he undertook conservation work with young offenders, and living first in Northampton and then in Desborough, had two further children Zebedee and Bella with his wife Jo. Andy was a terrific father, both loving and accepting, and his children are a testament to him. Andy also leaves behind his mother Mary, sisters Amanda and Rachel, and close family members Alice, Gary, Ben, Lily, Ava and David, as well as family in Australia and relations by marriage. He was a man of warmth and generosity who lived through his illness with considerable courage, openness and humour. His empathy for the natural world underpinned his environmental and Buddhist convictions. Andy really reached out to others and will be remembered with love and gratitude by those who knew him. A memorial service will be held at Corby Village Community Centre at 11.30 on 18th January, followed by burial in the Green Area at Rothwell Cemetary.
